The elegant Urbanstraße 172 project is located in the popular Kreuzberg district. The imposing residential building from 1907 is as true to the look of the time as it is today. In the former working-class district, the façade was not richly decorated, but the interior of the property scores with elegance. Well-preserved Wilhelminian-style buildings and relatively few new construction projects in Kreuzberg are leading to high demand for existing apartments, especially in the idyllic Graefekiez.
In the two entrées, the visitor is already greeted by large-scale mottled marble and recessed mirrors. Stuccoed walls convey opulence and grandeur. Hand-carved banisters and doors lead into the apartments, which convey a special sense of space thanks to their high ceilings.
The 24 apartments are spread over floors 1 to 5, with two commercial units on the first floor. The top floor was subsequently converted and comprises four spacious apartments.
The project “Urbanstraße 172” is located in hip Kreuzberg in the popular Graefekiez. Restaurants, cafés, bars, small stores and galleries await you in the streets lined with pretty old buildings. On foot or by bike you can quickly reach the Spreeufer with the Admiralbrücke and the popular Maybachufer. It is also not far to the extensive Volkspark Hasenheide with the open-air cinema, and shortly thereafter begins the famous Tempelhofer Feld. In a few minutes walk you can reach the subway station Gneisenaustraße (U7). Thanks to the good connection, the hotspots of the capital are quickly reached.
